Growing up in NJ I always had a love for the water. But it was when I moved to Illinois and found time on mu hands that I saw an ad for a SCUBA class in Normal IL. The time was right so I thought what the heck! Although taken aback by a bunch of, shall we say, suspicious looking characters...

I fell in love with diving - found the MDS family - two years later when I became an instructor for MDS. I found a love for teaching others and seeing the wonderment they too find in the underwater world.

• 1984 - PADI Open water certification
• 1986 - PADI Open Water Instructor
• 1989 - PADI Master Scuba Trainer
• 1998 - PADI Master Instructor
• 2002 - EFR Instructor
• 2003 - PADI Staff Instructor
