Noreen Smith

PADI Open water scuba instructor

Noreen is the other owner of Midwest Diving Specialists and the long suffering wife of Scuba Dick for 55 years.

She was not a diver when MDS begin but soon tired of watching bubbles and delivering the refreshments for the divers. She always said she could not swim but with the compassionate and dedicated patience of her instructor Noreen became a PADI diver.  Noreen had apprehension about diving, but her determination and display of relentless desire to become a diver made her a poster child. Her assistance in fitting students in wet suits, cooking for 40 divers at Dale Hollow, or preparing them for everything from open water or one of the many dive trips MDS offers, has made her the True Queen Bee.
